Is Cheapeststore.ru Legit or a Scam?

A wall charger for $0.50? That sounds too good to be true, which is why many on ScamAdviser have been asking if Cheapeststore.ru is a scam. With so many online stores popping up daily, it’s becoming harder to distinguish between legitimate businesses and potential scams. Many unsuspecting buyers fall victim to fraudulent websites that lure them in with unbeatable prices. So, is Cheapeststore.ru one of them? Let’s take a closer look, shall we?

Too Good to Be True Deals

Cheapeststore.ru lists almost all of its products with massive discounts. Like 60% off on almost all the items.  From electronics to household items, the prices are suspiciously low. While discounts exist in online shopping, stores selling items at nearly giveaway prices should raise a red flag.

If a deal seems too good to be true, it often is. Scammers use these ultra-low prices to lure in customers who are looking for bargains, only for them to receive either a subpar product or nothing at all. Ultra-low prices are one way you can recognize a scam website.

Where is Cheapeststore.ru Located?

The website claims, "Our corporate offices in Boston and Berlin," yet it provides no specific address. Simply mentioning city names does not prove they are based in the U.S. or Europe.

A legitimate company would typically list a verifiable business address. Without a proper location, it’s difficult to determine the authenticity of the company. If you have an issue with your order, where would you turn for support? A company unwilling to provide an actual address raises suspicions.

Cheapeststore.ru is a New Website

According to Whois LookUp and ScamAdviser, Cheapeststore.ru was registered in March 2025. While a new domain doesn't automatically mean a scam, it doesn’t inspire confidence either.

Established e-commerce stores usually have a track record and customer reviews to back them up. Most fraudulent websites don’t last long, as they are often exposed and taken down. A newly registered domain, especially one offering unbelievable deals, should be approached with caution.

Where Are the Socials?

I couldn't find any social media buttons or links on Cheapeststore.ru. That’s unusual for a modern online store. Most legitimate businesses engage with customers through platforms like Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter.

A lack of social media presence makes it harder to verify the store's credibility. Established businesses use social media for customer support, updates, and engagement. The absence of social media suggests that Cheapeststore.ru may not want customers to leave public reviews or complaints.

Paying for Return Products?

If you receive the wrong, damaged, defective, or subpar product, you must cover the return shipping costs. This is not a good sign. Reputable stores usually offer free returns for defective products, especially if the mistake is on their end.

Many scam websites have similar policies, making it difficult for customers to get refunds. If a company truly values its customers, it should have a fair return policy.

Bottom Line: Is Cheapeststore.ru a Scam?

Overall, there is a high possibility that Cheapeststore.ru may be a scam. Here are the key warning signs:

  • Too-good-to-be-true prices – Most products have massive discounts that seem unrealistic.
  • No verifiable address – Only city names are mentioned, with no physical office location provided.
  • Newly registered domain – The website was registered in March 2025, which is a red flag.
  • No social media presence – No links to Facebook, Instagram, or other platforms make it harder to verify legitimacy.
  • Unfair return policy – Customers must pay return shipping even for defective products.

If you’re considering making a purchase, proceed with extreme caution—or better yet, shop elsewhere. There are plenty of reputable online marketplaces that offer genuine discounts and customer protection.
