Online shopping is convenient with lots of reputable online marketplaces but it's also filled with bad actors who prey on unsuspecting customers. Hence, when Flieortose.com became the most searched on ScamAdviser, we were compelled to take a look.
Flieortose.com is an online store that exhibits different sweaters and other fashion items. With many questioning its legitimacy, can they be trusted or should you avoid shopping at Flieortose.com? Join us as we review all there is to know about Flieortose.com.
On their Contact Us page, they list Aethermirag Ltd as the owner of the website. Suspiciously, this part is included in the form of a picture to deter any efforts to dig deeper.
Well, that did not stop us from digging deeper and what I found did not inspire any confidence. Aethermirag Ltd is registered in the UK, and the location listed matches whatever is in the Company House records.
However, it's the nature of business that caught my eye. Aethermirag Ltd, which was registered, in July 2023, is supposed to be in 63110 - Data processing, hosting, and related activities that got me confused.
Why would a company in data processing and hosting doing in the fashion sector? Turns out scammers will use registered companies to try and dupe customers into thinking they are legit and recognized by the government.
A scam network is a collection of different websites all using the same tricks, and most commonly, content, to dupe people. With this is mind, I was curious to see if Flieortose.com is part of any scam networks. I searched for this phrase I found on their About Page, At Flieortose we love every passion and interest on Earth because it is a reference to your UNIQUENESS.
Even before I could get the results, I knew this is likely part of the Uniqueness Scam Network which has been rampant with thousands of online shopping scam websites. We have covered this scam network extensively in the past with Zuoped.com, Sukissy.com, and Rbwearoutlets.com just to mention a few.
Though most of the over 12,000 websites we have unearthed in this scam network are different, they share a host of similarities. For starters, in most of them, you will also find this statement, “we love every passion and interest on Earth because it is a reference to your UNIQUENESS.”
Secondly, they will claim to be owned by a company in the UK, or any other Western Country and will even proceed to show their registration number and address. In the case of Flieortose.com, it is Aethermirag Ltd but we have seen several company names being used such as Ansky Company Limited, Aksu Hengjia Trading Co., Shenyang Qianxiaoyi E-Commerce Co., Ltd. plus many more.
These are likely shell companies used to mask the identity of the real owners as well as trying to appeal to unsuspecting customers as unique. They try to be cunning about it by including this information in the form of pictures to make it harder for people to do their due diligence.
Based on what we uncovered, there is a high possibility that Flieortose.com may be a scam. The claim to be owned by a company that, based on the public records, is involved in data sharing and hosting. With Flieortose.com being a fashion website, it's hard to imagine why they are owned by a company in a different industry altogether. They seem to be a part of a scam network as they exhibit signs that overlap with a notorious scam network. They seem to use copied content which is common with scammy websites.
Overall, it's prudent to exercise caution when dealing with Flieortose.com as there are more reliable online fashion stores out there.
