Porteduc.ml has been attracting a lot of attention from ScamAdviser users with many queries about its legitimacy. In this review, we will analyze everything there is to know about Porteduc.ml to make an informed decision.
Porteduc.ml is an online portal for the Ministry of National Education in Mali. However, is the website legit or are they a fraud? Let’s find out.
As noted, this is an education portal for the Ministry of National Education in Mali. They claim that, “The goal of the education portal is to improve and stabilize the communication system of the sector. It will include all the tools necessary to make collaboration the vehicle for the development of EDUCATION.”
The website is in French, as it's the official language in Mali.
On the website, they list +223 20231035 as their phone number. Upon further investigations, the number checks out as it's also listed on business directories and Yellow Pages in Mali.
When I looked up the location listed, it checked out as the Ministere De L'education Nationale on Google Maps.
At a glance, the website seems nicely done and it's easy to navigate. However, when I checked the social media buttons, I was stunned to see they were empty. Although they have listed all the social media buttons at the top, their links are only designed for Twitter and they don’t connect to the Twitter account.
All the links are for; “https://www.porteduc.ml/#/twitter” which is strange as each social media platform should have its own links.
Aside from that, at the tail end of the website, they claim useful links to pages such as Examination, Scholarships and more. However, when I clicked on the links, they redirected me back to the main page. I found this to be strange as most legit government websites should be complete and redirected accordingly.
On the top right side of the website, there is a provision for registering new accounts. The categories listed include Central Level, Deconcentrated Level, schools/establishments, students and partners.
However, when I tried registering for an account, I was unable to as there is no provision for signing up for new accounts.
Overall, there are suspicions when it comes to Porteduc.ml. The site seems nicely built with pictures and relevant information for the Ministry of National Education in Mali. However, most of the links on the websites are blank which does little to boost the confidence of users.
There is no provision to register new accounts despite the site having a section for the same. Caution is to be exercised when dealing with Porteduc.ml.
