Top Scams of the Week: Redgifted.com, Commusway.com, and Filmy4web.us.in Under the Microscope

It usually starts with a tempting offer: “Claim your $1000 reward!”, “Stream the latest movies for free!”, or “Shop trending fashion at 70% off!”

But behind these flashy headlines often lie scams designed to waste your time, steal your money, or worse, your personal data. This week, we investigated three websites raising red flags across the web:

  • Is filmy4web.us.in a Legit?
  • Is Redgifted.com a Scam?
  • Can Commusway.com be Trusted?

Here’s what we found—and why you should be cautious.

1. Is Redgifted.com a Scam?

What it claims:

  • “Complete 25 deals to get a $1000 reward.”
  • “Complete fewer deals to earn smaller rewards.”

What’s really going on:

  • Redirects to a different site: After signing up, users are taken to Uplevelrewards.com, not Redgifted.com.
  • High-pressure tactics: You’ll see countdown timers and messages like “X people earned rewards today” to push fast decisions.

  • Confusing review situation:
    • Redgifted.com shows glowing reviews.
    • Trustpilot shows negative reviews, but for a slightly different domain: Uplevelreward.com (note the missing "s").

    • This may be typosquatting scam, where scammers make small changes to the URL to confuse users.

Bottom line: Is Redgifted.com a Scam?

Redgifted.com appears risky. The redirects, aggressive marketing, and inconsistent reviews are all warning signs.

2. Can Commusway.com Be Trusted?

What it claims:

  • Sells fashion items like tops, jackets, and blazers.
  • Promises trendy, expressive clothing.

What we found:

  • Copied content: The “About Us” section uses generic phrases also found on many low-trust websites. This could suggest they are a part of a larger scam network.

  • No customer reviews: Major platforms like Trustpilot have no listings for this site.
  • Very new website: Registered in January 2025, which makes it hard to judge trustworthiness.

Red flags:

  • Lack of transparency about who runs the site
  • No customer feedback or independent mentions
  • Generic design and recycled content are often seen with scam networks

Bottom line: Is Commusway.com a Scam?

Commusway.com shows multiple warning signs. There are more reputable online fashion stores out there.

3. Is Filmy4web.us.in Legit?

What it claims:

  • Offers free Bollywood movies, South Indian Hindi-dubbed films, and web series.

What we found:

  • Newly registered: The domain was created on April 15, 2025.
  • Offers likely pirated content: Streaming copyrighted films without a license is illegal in most countries.

Why it’s risky:

  • Malware danger: Piracy sites often contain viruses or pop-up ads that can infect your device.
  • Legal issues: Accessing pirated material can result in fines or legal action.
  • Ethical concerns: It harms the film industry and creators.

Bottom line: Filmy4web.us.in

Filmy4web.us.in appears to be a risky way to watch movies. Proceed with caution to protect both your device and your digital reputation.

Parting Shot: Keep Your Wits

Here’s how to protect yourself:
